In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), the students at Ecole Poirier put on an Earth Day musical for the entire student body, teachers and parents. The play was written by Mrs. Arts and Mrs. Robertson. Students from Grades 4 and 5 auditioned for the play, and about 150 students from the choir sang the songs. Mrs. Arts made a point of saying the singers memorized all the words, so that photocopies were not required and another tree saved.
