Refugee group hosting fundraising dinner

The meal takes place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Team Sooke/Juan de Fuca Refugee Sponsorship Committee is hosting a fundraising dinner on April 9.

The meal, sponsored by Vital Vittles, takes place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Those hoping to attend must register by calling 250-642-7342 or email pandmday@shaw.ca, as seating is limited. Tickets are $20 each.

The Team Sooke/Juan de Fuca Refugee Sponsorship Committee hopes to bring a refugee family to the region.

All donated monies will go directly to supporting the newcomers. Administration and overhead costs are being donated by volunteers.
