The largest single-day, volunteer-led event in support of breast cancer in Canada is set to take place later this month and volunteers are needed to make it happen.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure hits the University of Victoria on Sunday, Sept. 30, a fundraising event that last year raised $556,670 thanks to the efforts of more than 300 local volunteers.

To volunteer as a route marshal, food server or in site set-up or take-down, visit cbcf.org.
