The Canada Day celebration at the Sooke Flats saw hundreds of people trek in and out

The annual Canada Day event at the Sooke Flats on July 1 was in full-swing.

Vendors selling food and merchandise were present, live music played throughout the day, and different activities were available for all ages.

The day ended with a barrage of fireworks.
