A Sooke woman was arrested Tuesday accused of driving drunk with her grandson in the vehicle.
West Shore RCMP responded to a report of a suspected drunk driver “driving erratically” traveling eastbound on Sooke Road.
The 55-year-old driver had her four-year-old grandson sitting beside her in a pickup truck. The child was not injured and turned over to another family member, said RCMP Const. Alex Berube.
The woman is facing impaired driving charges and was issued a roadside prohibition.
