The Sooke Region Museum opens a new maritime exhibit

he Sooke Region Museum opened two new exhibits on Sunday, one featuring items for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in the upstairs gallery and a maritime exhibit, called the the Ray Vowles Maritime History Gallery on the main level. Vowles, pictured, is an exceptionally dedicated volunteer at the museum and has been for many, many years.
