Injured black bear spotted in West Saanich

Saanich Police are advising the public of an injured black bear that has been spotted roaming the area of Viaduct Avenue in West Saanich.

Police report the bear does not appear to be afraid of people and dogs, and the Saanich Pound and B.C. Conservation Office service have been notified.

Anyone who sees the bear is asked to contact the Saanich Police at 250-475-4321.
