Man arrested on Sunday after stabbing in Victoria

Victim suffered multiple stab wounds, resulting in potentially life-altering injuries

One man was arrested Sunday morning after a stabbing in Victoria left a victim with potentially life-altering injuries.

Victoria police responded to a report of an assault in progress at a residence in the 1400-block of Lang Street around 7:50 a.m. on Feb. 6. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds, including wounds to his face.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene and transported him to hospital with non-life-threatening, but potentially life-altering injuries.

A man was arrested in relation to the stabbing and taken to VicPD cells. He faces recommended charges of aggravated assault.
