Roadwork closes Island Highway in View Royal Tuesday

Westbound curb lane closed 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to road work

The town of View Royal warns travellers to expect delays on the 1600-block of Island Highway Tuesday near Ashley Homestore.

The westbound curb lane will be closed March 5 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. while BC Hydro does road work.

A traffic controller will assist pedestrians and cyclists through.

“Emergency vehicles will be treated with utmost priority and will have immediate access as required,” according to a View Royal media release.
