Rusting bars and missing caps on playground equipment at Broomhill Park will be the focus of a District of Sooke staff report.
The report, urged by the parks and trails advisory committee, will also discuss options, including fencing off areas and determining a playground replacement plan.
“We will rely on staff expertise to tell us what needs to be done,” said committee member Mark Zeigler in a presentation to council.
“There is one older structure that is a particular concern that is rusting and kids are still climbing on.”
The report is expected to be completed this fall.
