Body found near rowing docks at Selkirk waterfront

Victoria police were working with divers searching Gorge Waterway earlier this month for missing man

Police continue to investigate after a body was pulled out of the water at the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club in the Selkirk area off Gorge Road on Tuesday afternoon.

The body, not publicly identified by police as that of a man or woman at this point, is wrapped in a green tarp and investigators are still on scene. Two people who appear to be witnesses are also staying close by.

Victoria police were working with divers searching the Gorge Waterway earlier this month searching for a missing man, Duncan Pucker.

Police have not yet commented on this incident.
