It is with deep regret that we report the sudden passing of David Richard MacPhie on April 8, 2023, at the young age of 35.
David was a beloved member of his community, with a large family consisting of 5 siblings and twin daughters, Brooklyn, and Charlotte. He was loved by his siblings Chris, Steven, Angus, Thomas and Tamara, his parents Ernie and Tammi, and stepparents Tom Lewis and Janette Samson-Roder, and grandparents Patricia Gail MacPhie and Carol Starkey. David had a strong connection to his hometown of Sooke, where he was born and raised. A memorial service in his honour will be held on June 24 at the Sooke Legion at 12:00 noon we invite all those who knew and loved David to attend. Our condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
