In Loving Memory ~
Our much loved Maria Alberti (Costa) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was 94 years old.
Maria is survived by her six children - Gio, Antonia, Caterina, Silvio, Rocco and Annette and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Despite her large family,
Maria always made time for everyone. She provided support and love for her family both in Canada and Italy.
Born in Ragattisi, Sicily, Maria immigrated to Canada November 1957 to join her husband Vincenzio Alberti in Jordan River, B.C.
Maria lived most of her life in Sooke, B.C.
Our Noni will be forever cherished, and lives on through stories, recipes and the example she set as a strong independent woman.
