I feel blessed to live in a country of such diversity and compassion.
Across this country people are helping people in times of crisis and need – giving of themselves in complete selflessness.
Our land of beauty from east to west, north to south. So many differences, but still the people remain as one.
The freedoms we share thanks to past generations and the freedoms we will continue to share in the future.
Being thankful for all that makes this country, I am content to be a citizen of Canada.
Happy birthday, Canada! May you continue to be an inspiration to the world for another 150 years.
