Kayakers and camouflaged eagles

A couple of paddlers don't see the rehabilitated eagle hiding beside them in a tree.

Kayakers up the Sooke River

Kayakers paddling up the Sooke River after the Bald Eagle was released.  The eagle remained in a tree, perfectly camoflaged for some time.  There were many other eagles in the area and the eagle took her time before launching back into her home territory.  As eagles are very territorial, and are scrapping at this time of year, the people from Wild ARC wanted to make sure she was fine before they left this beautiful wild bird back where she was found just over a month ago.
