The Victoria Curling Club won’t see a lull between Christmas and New Year’s Day as youth hit the ice to determine a provincial champion.

Both the B.C. Under 18 Curling Championships and B.C. Mixed Doubles Curling Championship hit the ice on Quadra Street Dec. 27 to 31.

The championships feature 17 U18 boys’ teams, 6 U18 girls’ teams, and 20 mixed doubles pairs from across the province.

The top boys and mixed doubles as well as two finalists in girls’ category earn a berth at national championships.

Viewers are welcome at the rink, at 1952 Quadra St., by donation.

Games will also stream online at youtube.com/@CurlBCTV.
