Brendan Mayer

Brendan Mayer

I spent my upbringing in Saskatoon, and in 2021, I made the move to Vancouver Island. My interests span music, outdoor adventures, and sports. You'll often find me either at a concert venue soaking in the tunes or at a rec centre getting involved in sports activities. If your volleyball team needs a substitute player, count me in – I'm your guy.

Passionate about reconciliation, storytelling, and community involvement, I've been a reporter for over six years. Currently, I'm based at the Black Press Media Victoria news hub. My aim is to contribute to meaningful stories and make a positive impact within my community. Feel free to connect with me anytime!
